The MGH thread is http://neuro-mancer.mgh.harvard.edu/ubb/Forum71/HTML/007138.html

How Do I Cope With PD?

I look at beautiful art, like this print by Morris Graves.

I hang out with my teen age daughter and listen to Avril Lavigne

I keep in contact with my PD internet network of friends

I try to find the humor in everything...everyday life as well as the intentional (listen to David Sedaris!)

I keep in touch with old friends.

I talk to my parents and sister who live in a distant state.

I plan fun outings several months in advance to be sure I always have something to look forward to.

I play with website design for the sheer pleasure.

I remember to listen frequently to the Indigo Girls, for their poetry in song that captures the human condition
